Taylor Lake Village Municipal Court serves the residents of Harris County, the 187th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Seabrook district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Taylor Lake Village Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2018 and has dedicated his life serving the Seabrook. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Harris County Courthouse. The Taylor Lake Village Municipal Court is located on 500 Kirby Road in the city of Seabrook, the Harris county seat.

The administration of justice in the Taylor Lake Village Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Harris County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Harris County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Taylor Lake Village Municipal Court was first built in 1875 in the Harris Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in September 1874. Four courthouses have been built in Seabrook. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 281-326-2843 or fax 281-326-5456 to the court during office hours to get more information.
