Diboll Municipal Court was first built in 1891 in the Angelina Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in July 1854. Four courthouses have been built in Diboll. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
