The recording of deeds fees differ based on the number of pages and names; the introductory rate for a one-page stands at $28 . Any subsequent or additional pages attract an extra $3. After the fifth in the list, any different name attracts 22 cents for indexing. Now it’s easy to do the math if you are going to pursue any of these.
Other related charges are as follows:
- Any errors made in the first-page title attracts a double fee which means $29 times two
- Failing to correctly indicate the grantee’s address attracts a penalty of $29. If this is lesser than the filling price, they will double the filing fee to be paid as a penalty.
- Copy per page goes at $3 . A certified copy, however, is $6 per document in addition to regular copy fees
