Appleseed Academy began in 1995 as a day school where it had 34 students. In 2006, they added a boarding section that continued to attract more students from various parts of the world. Today, the school has over 792 students, with 21 countries represented. Most day scholars are from the local Dallas area, given their proximity to their homes.
