Marine Military Academy began in 1999 as a day school where it had 35 students. In 2003, they added a boarding section that continued to attract more students from various parts of the world. Today, the school has over 630 students, with 26 countries represented. Most day scholars are from the local Cameron area, given their proximity to their homes.
