Hebbronville Department of Aging department’s mission statement says it all: The Jim Hogg Department of Aging promotes the independence and quality of life of the elderly population through leadership, advocacy, collaboration, and education. It was formed when the Texas Legislature required each county to have an area agency on aging (AAA). Hebbronville Department of Aging serves anyone older than 60 years old, frail or disabled regardless of age.

Services Offered
To help senior citizens stay active and engaged in the community as they age, Hebbronville Department of Aging offers several services. These include free Meals on Wheels services, transportation to appointments; home health care workers; and more.
