Olney Municipal Court was first built in 1887 in the Young Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in October 1859. Four courthouses have been built in Olney. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
