Wilson County Court serves the residents of Wilson County, the 120th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Wilson County Court was first built in 1878 in the Wilson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in August 1898. Four courthouses have been built in Floresville. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
