Round Rock Municipal Court was first built in 1853 in the Williamson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in February 1889. Four courthouses have been built in Round Rock. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
