Jarrell Municipal Court serves the residents of Williamson County, the 222th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Jarrell Municipal Court was first built in 1918 in the Williamson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in February 1888. Four courthouses have been built in Jarrell. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
