Pflugerville Municipal Court serves the residents of Travis County, the 248th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Pflugerville district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Pflugerville Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2011 and has dedicated his life serving the Pflugerville. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Travis County Courthouse. The Pflugerville Municipal Court is located on 1611 Pfennig Lane in the city of Pflugerville, the Travis county seat.

The administration of justice in the Pflugerville Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Travis County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Travis County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Pflugerville Municipal Court was first built in 1856 in the Travis Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in February 1876. Four courthouses have been built in Pflugerville. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 512-251-4191 or fax 512-670-5597 to the court during office hours to get more information.
