Pflugerville Municipal Court was first built in 1856 in the Travis Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in February 1876. Four courthouses have been built in Pflugerville. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
