White Settlement Municipal Court serves the residents of Tarrant County, the 74th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the White Settlement district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current White Settlement Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2010 and has dedicated his life serving the White Settlement. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Tarrant County Courthouse. The White Settlement Municipal Court is located on 214 Meadow Park Drive in the city of White Settlement, the Tarrant county seat.

The administration of justice in the White Settlement Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Tarrant County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Tarrant County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

White Settlement Municipal Court was first built in 1874 in the Tarrant Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in August 1860. Four courthouses have been built in White Settlement. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 817-246-4971 or fax 817-367-0885 to the court during office hours to get more information.
