Haslet Municipal Court serves the residents of Tarrant County, the 74th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Haslet district clerk and county clerk. Haslet Municipal Court was first built in 1913 in the Tarrant Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1920. Four courthouses have been built in Haslet. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
