Azle Municipal Court was first built in 1911 in the Tarrant Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in April 1898. Four courthouses have been built in Azle. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
