Calvert Municipal Court serves the residents of Robertson County, the 107th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Calvert Municipal Court was first built in 1900 in the Robertson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in December 1888. Four courthouses have been built in Calvert. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
