Livingston Municipal Court was first built in 1920 in the Polk Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in July 1915. Four courthouses have been built in Livingston. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
