Springtown Justice of Peace Court was first built in 1874 in the Parker Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in March 1912. Four courthouses have been built in Springtown. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
