Parker County Court at Law serves the residents of Parker County, the 64th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Weatherford district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Parker County Court at Law judge has been in office since 2014 and has dedicated his life serving the Weatherford. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Parker County Courthouse. The Parker County Court at Law is located on 1112 Santa Fe Drive in the city of Weatherford, the Parker county seat.

The administration of justice in the Parker County Court at Law is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Parker County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Parker County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Parker County Court at Law was first built in 1905 in the Parker Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in March 1856. Four courthouses have been built in Weatherford. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 817-598-6179 or fax 817-598-6119 to the court during office hours to get more information.
