Oak Ridge North Municipal Court serves the residents of Montgomery County, the 236th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Oak Ridge North district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Oak Ridge North Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2012 and has dedicated his life serving the Oak Ridge North. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Montgomery County Courthouse. The Oak Ridge North Municipal Court is located on 27424 Robinson Road in the city of Oak Ridge North, the Montgomery county seat.

The administration of justice in the Oak Ridge North Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Montgomery County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Montgomery County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Oak Ridge North Municipal Court was first built in 1864 in the Montgomery Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1903. Four courthouses have been built in Oak Ridge North. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 281-292-8736 or fax 281-367-7729 to the court during office hours to get more information.
