Brady Municipal Court serves the residents of McCulloch County, the 237th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Brady Municipal Court was first built in 1915 in the McCulloch Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in May 1907. Four courthouses have been built in Brady. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
