Llano Municipal Court serves the residents of Llano County, the 12th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Llano Municipal Court was first built in 1903 in the Llano Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in September 1907. Four courthouses have been built in Llano. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
