Llano Justice of Peace Court was first built in 1908 in the Llano Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in December 1905. Four courthouses have been built in Llano. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
