Horseshoe Bay Municipal Court was first built in 1907 in the Llano Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in April 1850. Four courthouses have been built in Horseshoe Bay. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
