Three Rivers Municipal Court was first built in 1900 in the Live Oak Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1869. Four courthouses have been built in Three Rivers. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
