Coolidge Municipal Court serves the residents of Limestone County, the 27th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Coolidge Municipal Court was first built in 1875 in the Limestone Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1894. Four courthouses have been built in Coolidge. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
