Dime Box Justice of Peace Court was first built in 1881 in the Lee Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in June 1884. Four courthouses have been built in Dime Box. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
