Kimble County Court serves the residents of Kimble County, the 211th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Kimble County Court was first built in 1882 in the Kimble Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in July 1896. Four courthouses have been built in Junction. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
