Ingram Justice of Peace Court was first built in 1880 in the Kerr Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in June 1880. Four courthouses have been built in Ingram. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
