Boerne Municipal Court serves the residents of Kendall County, the 147th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Boerne Municipal Court was first built in 1873 in the Kendall Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in November 1913. Four courthouses have been built in Boerne. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
