Hutchinson District Court serves the residents of Hutchinson County, the 94th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Hutchinson District Court was first built in 1896 in the Hutchinson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1897. Four courthouses have been built in Stinnett. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
