Tom Bean Municipal Court was first built in 1895 in the Grayson Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in July 1850. Four courthouses have been built in Tom Bean. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
