Post Municipal Court serves the residents of Garza County, the 92th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Post Municipal Court was first built in 1903 in the Garza Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in May 1902. Four courthouses have been built in Post. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
