Garza County Court serves the residents of Garza County, the 92th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Post district clerk and county clerk. The current Garza County Court judge has been in office since 2019 and has dedicated his life serving the Post. Garza County Court was first built in 1880 in the Garza Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in October 1911. Four courthouses have been built in Post. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
