Ladonia Municipal Court serves the residents of Fannin County, the 89th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Ladonia Municipal Court was first built in 1882 in the Fannin Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in November 1878. Four courthouses have been built in Ladonia. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
