Rosebud Municipal Court serves the residents of Falls County, the 130th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Rosebud Municipal Court was first built in 1920 in the Falls Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in December 1901. Four courthouses have been built in Rosebud. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
