Clarendon Municipal Court was first built in 1890 in the Donley Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in July 1907. Four courthouses have been built in Clarendon. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
