Corinth Municipal Court serves the residents of Denton County, the 16th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Corinth Municipal Court was first built in 1893 in the Denton Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in May 1893. Four courthouses have been built in Corinth. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
