Glenn Heights Municipal Court serves the residents of Dallas County, the 66th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Glenn Heights district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Glenn Heights Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2012 and has dedicated his life serving the Glenn Heights. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Dallas County Courthouse. The Glenn Heights Municipal Court is located on 550 East Bear Creek Road in the city of Glenn Heights, the Dallas county seat.

The administration of justice in the Glenn Heights Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Dallas County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Dallas County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Glenn Heights Municipal Court was first built in 1898 in the Dallas Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in August 1866. Four courthouses have been built in Glenn Heights. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 972-223-2107 to the court during office hours to get more information.
