Crosbyton Municipal Court was first built in 1868 in the Crosby Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in February 1916. Four courthouses have been built in Crosbyton. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
