Comanche Municipal Court was first built in 1915 in the Comanche Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in April 1883. Four courthouses have been built in Comanche. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
