Winnie Justice Court was first built in 1873 in the Chambers Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in August 1900. Four courthouses have been built in Winnie. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
