Bloomburg Municipal Court serves the residents of Cass County, the 13th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Bloomburg Municipal Court was first built in 1910 in the Cass Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in December 1880. Four courthouses have been built in Bloomburg. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
