Laguna Vista Municipal Court was first built in 1872 in the Cameron Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in January 1882. Four courthouses have been built in Laguna Vista. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
