Marble Falls Municipal Court was first built in 1878 in the Burnet Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in April 1912. Four courthouses have been built in Marble Falls. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
