Nash Municipal Court was first built in 1913 in the Bowie Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in September 1863. Four courthouses have been built in Nash. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
