Shavano Park Municipal Court serves the residents of Bexar County, the 210th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. As a result, it holds a very special role that makes it supported by both the Shavano Park district clerk and county clerk. Issues that should be filed with the county clerk or the district clerk should be strictly filed within the respective courts; luckily, the staff is friendly and will help you through the process.

The current Shavano Park Municipal Court judge has been in office since 2012 and has dedicated his life serving the Shavano Park. The courts, the district clerk, and the county clerk’s office are located in the historic Bexar County Courthouse. The Shavano Park Municipal Court is located on 900 Saddletree Court in the city of Shavano Park, the Bexar county seat.

The administration of justice in the Shavano Park Municipal Court is open, transparent, and open to the public. All the proceedings and acts of the court are recorded and maintained by the Bexar County Clerk’s Office.  The public can access the record online or by mailing the county clerk’s office located at Bexar County Courthouse. The requests are made by creating a written statement indicating a request for the records, the case number, and requisite application fees in a stamped self-addressed envelope. For more information about court proceedings, visit the court’s official site.

Shavano Park Municipal Court was first built in 1855 in the Bexar Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in August 1904. Four courthouses have been built in Shavano Park. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome. You can call 210-492-2607 or fax 210-492-3816 to the court during office hours to get more information.
