Morgan’s Point Resort Municipal Court was first built in 1917 in the Bell Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in April 1882. Four courthouses have been built in Belton. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
