Holland Municipal Court was first built in 1888 in the Bell Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in December 1901. Four courthouses have been built in Holland. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
