Andrews Municipal Court was first built in 1916 in the Andrews Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in October 1847. Four courthouses have been built in Andrews. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
