Andrews County Court serves the residents of Andrews County, the 196th largest county in Texas state. The county falls in the third senatorial district and the 11th congressional district. Andrews County Court was first built in 1889 in the Andrews Courthouse Square where the first sessions of the court were held alfresco underneath the boughs of oak trees in November 1859. Four courthouses have been built in Andrews. The current fourth courthouse is a great architectural marvel featuring a double-spiral staircase and a beautiful stained-glass montage in the dome.
